Most shops and establishments are attended directly by the owners; therefore, the service in Playa's establishments is excellent. It is well known that the most exquisite food can be found in many corners of the Riviera Maya. 

Due to the great variety of cuisines and the influence of European and South American tourists, Playa has reached a level of quality in its international dishes that is on a par with the same dishes prepared in the countries of origin. From dusk until midnight, Fifth Avenue is filled with the most extravagant people, tourists and various locals who have finished work and come out "to wander" or to invite visitors into their shops. Take a seat in a café or restaurant on the 5th and watch the people pass by for a unique experience!
