Puerto Aventuras is a tourist center with over 200 constructions and residential spaces which can be rented. Among these are many exclusive hotels located along the beach, and small apartments (for rent by day, week or month).

The center of town is the marina with easy access to the ocean, and which surrounds a small island used by hundreds of birds as a nocturnal refuge. Recently, a family of dolphins have come to this marina and are recently ready to receive visitors. The marina is surrounded by small stores which sell handicrafts, Mexican art, silver, real estate, and other things of interest. 

There are restaurants and bars which serve all types of specialties, while offering the dinner delight of the open air with a view of the "passerby". Puerto Aventuras has one of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean; and the cenote whose fresh water flows into the sea is a marvelous spectacle of nature.
